World Book Day

The whole school celebrated world book day by dressing as their favourite book character and coming in the hall to hear a sory being read by different teachers. This was a fantastic, positive way to begin the day of exciting activities. each class went to each teacher for half an hour to share a book and an activity. The children were beautifully behaved and had a brilliant time. A boy and girl from each year group were chosen for a prize for best dressed character. the next day the children and teachers were treated with a storyteller who tiold fantastic stories from around the world. His stories included songs and the playing of instruments which the children took part in. it was a fantastic day all round!

The boy's team played GoodYears End last week and won 3-0! The played really well as a team and it really paid off. We are so proud of them - well done lads!

Boys football team: The team played really well in the latest tournamnet held at Nicholas Chamberlaine, unfortunately they did not get through to the final but won two of their matches and just missed out. Well done lads because we know you played strongly as a team and it definately showed!
